The Planetary Union (usually just “The Union”) is a loose collective of human occupied worlds on The Rim. The Union theoretically provides a neutral police force to its member worlds, but in reality, the underpaid and often unappreciated Union cops don’t have any great connection to local citizens. They never seem to be averse to being cut into more lucrative deals.
